A young boy is treated as an outcast by his stepmother when his mother dies.

A widow and her son move into a beautiful new home where her son meets the ghost of a melancholy young girl who claims to be desperately searching for her mother. Although his mother is cynical the brave young boy is determined to help the ghost find peace.
