Heena Hoyana Samanallu (Dreaming Butterflies) (Sinhalese: හීන හොයන සමනල්ලු) is a 2017 Sri Lankan Sinhala family drama film directed by Rohan Perera and produced by Sunil T Fernando for Sunil T Films. Shehan, who belongs to a higher middle class family is the only child of Madhavi (Dilhani Ekanayake) and Adithya (Saumya Liyanage). Their lives changed unexpectedly when Shehan is diagnosed with leukemia.

In a land where a 17-year-old poor schoolgirl goes to the probation prison for stealing eight nuts of coconut, while corrupted officials, businessmen and drug lords, go scot free. A saddened honest police officer stands against the social injustice and corruptions, hoping to create a just and fair society for the sake of Good Governance, but in trouble as the Mafia want him dead or silence forever. Then the poor girl in prison decides, that it is their duty to challenge the existing system.

Behind a struggling filmmaker stands a wife holding a marriage on the edge of collapse. When some hidden truths surface, her quiet endurance is tested beyond its limits.

Young Buddhist monk Ananda, arrives at a temple in order to restore its paintings. These paintings depict Thelapaththa Jathakaya, a moral story where Lord Buddha said that a man with a big target in life must not be swayed by passion (Keles), the five senses and especially beautiful women. One day, Ananda picks up a hair pin belonging to a young woman. While attempting to return this object to its owner, his repressed feelings are awoken by the beauty and sensuality of the woman. The young monk's inner spiritual world is plunged into turmoil. Then one day the paintings are destroyed. While restoring them for the second time Ananda begins to realize that he is trapped in a web of his worldly desires and attachments.

The film takes place where an ancient King Hunther (Vijaya) was awaken by a hundred years sleep and started to modernize to present day world. He finally became a minister with the help of his present day friends Hector (Mahendra) and Moreen (Anarkali).

Rangana is a young musician from the working classes who dreams big. His aim is to rise above his station, even as he toils the low-rent barroom circuit with his band, playing night after night to under-appreciative crowds to make a frugal living. Tanya is the love of his life, the woman whom all this will be worth achieving. She is just finishing school. As he toils through the nights, his need of a mode of transport - a motor bicycle - becomes more and more apparent. He dreams of one day collecting enough money to buy one, finally buying a second hand motorbike despite his mother's great protest. He now wants to taste his new found freedom with his beloved Tanya, along the city streets of Colombo. As Rangana and Tanya embark on this motorbike journey across the city, questions about their present, challenges to their future and the very essence of their lives is brought to the fore, in "Motor Bicycle."
