The action takes place in Odesa in 1918-1919. At the request of General Denikin, a French squadron arrives in Odesa to restore order in the city. Odesa Bolsheviks are trying to convince the sailors to leave the city. At the center of the story is the heroic fate of Frenchwoman Jeanne-Marie Lyabourb (1877-1919), shot by French interventionists.

The Cinderella story.

The insidious and angry Hunter Stump kidnaps the Cat in order to exchange it for Bambra. Bambre agrees to the exchange and surrenders to the hunter. But loyal friends - Hermit, Mouse and Bird - do not abandon a friend in trouble and save the Cat.

A young man arrives in a village to visit his uncle, a retired colonel, and finds the local community "enslaved" by a man who, according to him, "will remain in history." The situation develops into a tragicomedy and takes on elements of phantasmagoria.
