The second part of the film “About Love”. Moscow, summer 2016. A new lecture, a new lecturer with a new theme: “How to preserve love in the modern world” – and five new stories about love. The heroes still suffer, struggle for love, even more often get into absurd and ridiculous situations, and yet they trust in love even more.

This funny and tragic film explores the struggle to cope with the death of someone close to you. The main character, Tolya, who has just entered university, is confronted with the death of his mother from cancer and unexpectedly shoulders the responsibility of organizing the funeral: obtaining a death certificate, choosing a coffin and cemetery plot, calling relatives, and meeting his long-lost father. Irony becomes Tolya's only way to cope, so the characters and the world around them transform into grotesque versions of themselves: a nurse-bartender, a sinister cross seller, and an army of ninjas. But behind every humorous detail lies genuine pain.

Four friends from a provincial mining town receive an order from "above" to intimidate and drive away a visiting blogger from the capital, who intends to highlight local environmental issues and raise the issue of a brown coal fire in a local open-pit mine. But from the very beginning, everything goes wrong for them: lateness, alcohol, arguments and inexperience make their own adjustments, and they themselves find themselves under fire.

Social worker Rita spends her working days in the apartments of lonely elderly people. She refuses no one, helping everyone in need. Rita's life will begin to fall apart as soon as her son finds himself in a situation that leads to his death. And the woman's life will turn into hell.

Moscow, 1980s. The film studio is filming the feature film "Nora" based on Henrik Ibsen's play "A Doll's House". An actress from Leningrad is invited to play the main role.

Yura, a traffic police officer disappointed in love, turns out to be an accidental guest of a wedding party at the dacha of Moscow creative youth. The happiness of the young couple and the atmosphere of the evening make him remember his own feelings.

Kira Georgievna is a famous sculptor. She has a loving husband, friends, and fans. She seems quite happy. But one day the past breaks into Kira's well-adjusted life: Vadim, her first husband, appears. In '37, he was repressed and spent 20 years in camps.

In the center of the painting is the story of the artist Troshcheikin, his wife Lyuba, her mother and sister. They live abroad, in a provincial small town populated by compatriots. The unexpected return to the city of a certain Barbashin turns the life of the family upside down. Five years ago, in a fit of jealousy, this man shot at Troshcheikin and his wife, wounded them and, after going to prison for six years, promised to return and finish what he started…

18-year-old Sasha is in love with her dorm neighbor and passionately hates the latter’s boyfriend, Egor, who illegally lives in their room. More than anything, Sasha wants to get rid of Egor — at any cost. She doesn’t know yet that sometimes a dream coming true is the worst that can happen.

A subtle melodrama in the old style about youth, memories and the first infatuation that never stops to shine. It is a story about the encounter between two separate universes, of a Russian student and an American researcher, in a tent in nature amidst stunning landscapes of the Caucasus. It begins well and ends well, too. The visual form which illustrates the film contents is an experiment with the format and the use of black, white and colour. With a scent of nostalgia, this cinema evokes the spirit of narration that is rare nowadays. It pays tribute to an old-style romance and is an expression of longing for the little big experiences in life.
