When the bizarre mass suicide of 54 high school girls throwing themselves in front of a subway train appears to instigate a string of suicides around the country, Detective Kuroda strives to find the answer, which isn't as simple as he had hoped.

Mirai Suzuki (Yuko Oshima) becomes responsible for her mother's debt which is owed to loan shark Kaoru Ushijima (Takayuki Yamada). To begin paying off her mother's debt, Mirai begins working at a dating cafe. Meanwhile, Jun (Kento Hayashi) is the ambitious and greedy company president for an event group. To borrow money, Jun visits Kaukau Finance owned by Kaoru Ushijima.

Reiko Akigawa has been married for three years, has a banker husband and a seemingly happy married life, but has a secret side: she is a state secret agent. One day, newlywed Kaori, who lives next door, commits suicide by jumping from her flat. Reiko sets out to investigate and discovers that boys have been attacking women every day as if it were a game. She also learns that Kahori was raped by these boys, and that they used the photos as material for repeated rapes. Reiko receives an order from the command centre to eliminate the boys and goes to their hideout by herself...

Set in a rural fishing village in southern Japan, this is the story of Erika, a celebrated former anchorwoman now back in her hometown campaigning for a seat in the national party, and Yohei, an insecure fisherman-in-training. The two are worlds apart.
