Daniela wanders around Santiago in search of "The City of the Caesars", a Chilean film that has disappeared. She meets Bárbara and Manuel, who admits her to bohemian Santiago. The search for the film will generate new finds. Music and friendship will be the pillars of memory.

Mauro, Noel and Broco have been an inseparable group of friends since grade school. All grown up, their lives are not what they hoped they would be. In 1958, filmmaker Sergio Bravo bought a sack of old film reels on the street—material destined to be turned into hair combs. The sack contained seven 35mm nitrate reels of the film "El húsar de la muerte" (1925), directed by Pedro Sienna. Leading researchers and guardians of the country's film heritage recount, from various perspectives, the story of a discovery that changed the course of Chilean cinema.
