The quiet life of a serial killer in Lisbon is disrupted when an unusual incident suddenly turns him into a social media star.

Manel is twenty years old, lives on Avenida Almirante Reis and idealizes love inspired by the relationship of his parents. Out of compassion, he hands over his double mattress to Nicolau and his girlfriend, who returned to Lisbon. Manel is alone with the mattress that he exchanged with his friends and on his way back home when he invades a film set, with a team entirely composed by girls. One of them, Rita, a beautiful production intern who helps with the mattress.

Os Amigos do Gaspar: Uma Reunião na Cidade, a musical film that revisits, more than thirty years later, the children’s programme that marked the imagination of a generation, bringing back iconic characters from the series created by João Paulo Seara Cardoso and Jorge Constante Pereira. Involving members of the original team and new actors, this film project is the result of research and restoration work on the original puppets carried out throughout 2022, with the involvement of the series’ authors.
