As an unknown and deadly disease begins to spread, legend has it that it is transmitted between two men, through a simple glance, when they fall in love. While people are accusing her family, Lidia must find out whether this myth is real or not.

In a house far from Santiago de Chile, little Alonso tries to change the fate of his sister Daniela, still just a child, who is about to become the seventh wife of the Lion of Judah, a supposed prophet, leader of a cult, who apparently provides electricity when he is touched.

Nataly, a trans woman is visiting her ex lover Leon with her daughter Secreto. Leon is living in a mysterious community hiding from the sun: these reunions will remind Nataly the memory of a toxic and abusive relationship.

In a fog-shrouded Chilean town circa 1992, disgraced detective Ferrari investigates a series of murders—men found without hearts, their deaths blamed on a monstrous woman. With her assistant Sheyla Williams, Ferrari follows the trail to a family of women who work seasonally harvesting giant-lettuces. There, she uncovers the truth behind the myth: the unresolved horrors of the dictatorship and a murderous hatred of dissident bodies.
