The melody of a song protects them from the shadows waiting in the dark, as they prepare to face an important decision that could change their lives.

Meche can’t get over the loss of her son Raul and her life is suspended in time and space, just like Raul’s bedroom. Everything is intact except Lidice, the neighborhood where her family has always lived. Her daughters Anabel and Dayana try to convince her to leave.

Andrés and his son Pedro live in a working district of Caracas and hardly ever see each other. While Andrés fills his time doing different jobs, Pedro wanders the streets playing with friends and learning from the violent atmosphere around him.

On the border of Venezuela with Colombia, during the late 80's, two men survive an armed assault near the Arauca River, in which fourteen of their companions end up dead. The Army accuses them of being guerrilla fighters and tries via intimidation to seize them from the cell where they are being watched over by the local police officer and by the entire village. They say they are simple fishermen, but pressure to yield to the official version is overwhelming.

Delves into hope and resilience in a post-COVID world. The film centres on Alice, a young doctoral student who explores humanity’s narratives while battling her own emotional detachment. Her life takes a turn when she meets an enigmatic stranger, igniting a transformative journey through haunting black-and-white cityscapes.
