Jide Bolariwa

Set in 1975, the film tells the story of a soldier and a schoolteacher from opposing tribes who fall in love amid a nation still recovering from civil war and societal divisions. Their relationship is tested by tradition, family loyalties, and a society striving to heal.

A mother is on the quest to heal her daughter’s youthful exuberance, whilst battling with her out of control attitude the daughter decides to leave and live life by her own rules.
