Madrid, Spain, 2010. While the whole city follows the national team's successful participation in the World Cup, a group of daring thieves look for a way into one of the most secure and guarded places on the planet.

The film deals with the filming of an episode of the series with storylines that take place both within the fiction with the characters of 'Aída' and outside of it with the actors themselves and their relationships, which reflects on topics such as the limits of comedy, the work of a comedian and fame.

Rafa and Toni are two hustlers who work for Angela, a lawyer with flexible morals who offers her clients quick solutions outside the law. The story unfolds over the course of a frantic day in a labyrinthine industrial park, when they are tasked with recovering a stolen car belonging to one of those clients. In the trunk, they find a mysterious safe containing a relic from World War II: a Luger P08, highly coveted by dangerous figures in the underworld.

In Madrid, Spain, a mysterious serial killer ruthlessly murders his victims by recreating the first appearance of several comic book superheroes. Cosme, a veteran police inspector who is about to retire, works on the case along with the tormented inspector David Valentín and his own son Jorge Elías, a nerdy young man who owns a comic book store.

Inside there's Leo, a lawyer, and Juan, a very short sighted man of fixed ideas. When their paths cross, Juan is getting and argument with Lucio, another member of the gym, about something that nowadays seems to be totally accepted, or perhaps not so much. This conflict, though, doesn't seem to bother Juan, who is used to rely on fight and tension to win his battles. Still, we all keep our secrets, and for Leo and Juan the moment to remove their mask is finally here.
