After four brothers get killed in succession, Vimalanathan and his niece, Susila, are the sole survivors. So, Bhaskar, Susila's lover, tries to find the stalker who is hunting his lover's family.

Gummadi leaves his young son, Raja, and daughter, Shanti, to fend for themselves after the death of his wife. Raja takes care of his little sister while vowing to find his father.

The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, K. R. Vijaya, R. Muthuraman and V. Gopalakrishnan in lead roles. The film had musical score by M. S. Viswanathan. C. V. Rajendran who is the brother of C. V. Sridhar, worked as an associate director for this film.

Again Major enters the scene and brings back the politician along with a girl called Razia from the terrorists" base camp. Though, he believes that Razia is the daughter of the politician, she is a member of the terrorists gang. She robs information about Ghani"s movement from Jayasimha"s personal computer and takes him away from the army custody, while he is being shifted from one jail to another.

A young attractive and unemployed woman Seetha(Devika) taking up stage acting as a career. A wealthy man Kannabiran(K. Balaji) is after her, and uses his henchman(R. S. Manohar) to kidnap her. During the attempt, Rajan (Gemini Ganesan) and his clever dog Honey rescue her and the two fall in love. Rajan is the son of a Zamindar (S. V. Ranga Rao), who has a poor opinion of Seetha. However, after many hurdles, the two marry. The director of Seetha's stage troupe Gopal (R. Muthuraman) too is in love with her. But, she never responds. When Kannabiran is murdered. Gopal is arrested. He has an alibi - on the night of the murder, a young woman stayed with him in his house, but then he does not disclose her identity. The woman turns out to be Seetha and she gives them the evidence. One of the members of the jury is her father-in-law and complications follow with the husband leaving her and wishing to marry again. However, the truth comes out and the family is united in the end.

Saradha, a wealthy woman, marries an ordinary professor against the wishes of her father. Her dream of leading a happily married life is shattered when her husband meets with an accident.

Paras (Mahipal) is lost at sea when his father's ship enters into a storm. Paras is rescued by a poor villager, who brings him up as his own. Paras grows up and accomplishes himself as a swordsman and a singer. His fame soon reaches the palace, and the emperor summons him to sing for him, which he does. Pleased with his singing, the emperor asks him for a wish, and Paras asks for the hand of his daughter (Gitanjali). Enraged, the emperor decides to punish Paras. When his plans do not succeed, he plans to kill Paras, however, Paras escapes, and in the bargain ends up rescuing the the princess, who falls in love with him. Appearing defeated, the emperor asks Paras to seek a rare gem, and if he does so, then only can be marry his daughter. Paras agrees, but he has no clue as to the whereabouts of this rare gem, neither does anyone he knows.

Lakshmipati is a village landlord who adopts Shanthi, the daughter of his lower caste servant. When Shanthi grows up and falls in love with Srinivas Rao, his family objects to their marriage due to her caste.
