A murder-mystery, in which the friend of a wealthy, elderly couple tries to bring about a reconciliation between them on the one hand, and their their estranged relatives on the other.

Poverty-stricken Santhanam struggles to take care of his visually impaired brother. However, his life takes a turn after he comes across two women from different social backgrounds.

Bandha Pasam is a 1962 Indian Tamil language film directed by A. Bhimsingh and produced by Periyanna. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Gemini Ganesan, Savitri and Devika in lead roles. The film had musical score by Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy. This movie was dubbed in Telugu as Aadharsha Saadharalu.

A story of two rival kings, (R. Balasubramaniam, T.E. Krishnamachari); Sivaji Ganesan is the son of the latter. The wily advisor (Veerappa) of the other king tries to work out things in his favor and marry the dancer. After many twists and turns, the villains are exposed and the princess sacrifices her love in favor of the dancer.

Set in a historical backdrop, the narrative revolves around political intrigue, power struggles, and royal conflicts.Prince Suryakanthan (played by Sivaji Ganesan) and Chandran (played by K.R. Ramasamy) navigate complex relationships and rivalries involving figures like Veeramarthandan (S.V. Ranga Rao).

Rajendran is left with the responsibility of looking after his family after his father's death, and uncle's deceit. However, his troubles do not seem to end due to several misfortunes.

Mohanasundaram, a philanderer and drunkard, gets married to Chandra after he returns to India. Though he has a wife, he develops a relationship with Kantha, a prostitute.

Sundaram, a banker, is suspected to be murdered soon after which his daughter, Visalakshi, goes missing. Later, amateur detective, Govindan, investigates the case and makes some shocking revelations.

Amarakavi (English: Immortal Poet) is a 1952 Indian Tamil language film produced and directed by F. Nagoor. The film featured M. K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar and T. R. Rajakumari in the lead roles.

King Krishnadevaraya becomes a puppet in the hands of the courtesan Rangasani, who has been planted in the kingdom by enemies. It is up to Tenali Raman, a poet, to save the king and his kingdom.
