Liverpool, 1962. An Irish teen boy on the run from a shotgun wedding arrives in Liverpool. He joins the music scene and is inspired by the yet to be famous Beatles

A young girl, Ingrid (Sabrina Dickens) has been abused and disowned by her guardians and social workers. As she tries to get her life organised through the new social worker, Ms Murray (Anu Hasan) and a new friend Jade (Brigid Shine), Ingrid tries to build up courage to speak to males her own age, tries to talk and deal with her mental health and abuse.

Angela’s Ashes: The Musical is a remarkable story, told with rare lyricism and a warm inimitable sense of humor as we follow Frank McCourt’s escapades and experiences in a Dickensian landscape peopled by a drunken father, a helpless mother, pompous priests, and bullying schoolmasters; money-lenders, dancing-teachers, and charity workers, culminating in his escape from grinding poverty to the redemption of a new life in America.
