The Secret on the Canvas is a dramatic story set in Cyprus, woven with love, betrayal, and secrets buried years ago. Screenwriter Mert, who comes to the island in search of inspiration, finds traces of the forbidden love that painter Ayten had with a Greek Cypriot youth named Nikos in her youth. This discovery leads him to the dark secrets of the past, and during his research, his path crosses with Zehra's, and together they try to uncover a truth that has been hidden for generations.

A film depicting the final days of the Ottoman Empire through the eyes of the heirs living in a mansion left behind by an Ottoman pasha. The pasha's grandson, his dreamer husband, his alcoholic daughter, and many unemployed and idle friends sell their last possessions and live a pleasant but melancholic life.
