The Lord of the Springs finds the abandoned infant Pramek and unjustly neglects King Zoran. However, his daughter Dúhenka loves Zoran and becomes his wife despite her father's prohibition. The ruler of the springs becomes angry and deprives Zoran's kingdom of water as punishment. After the birth of her daughter Rosenka, Rainbow decides to sacrifice herself to save the kingdom and returns to the sky. Zoran and his daughter yearn in vain for years to meet Dúhenka. Rosenka grows up, she is fit for marriage, but she has one condition for the suitors: they must obtain rainbow water. But only Pramko can do that. And so the Ruler of the Springs must once again struggle with human emotions, and Rosenka and Pramko face many obstacles before they can convince him of the power of human love.

Concentration camp commander Kraft finds out that prisoner Kominek is a former professional boxer. Overnight, the prisoner is made Kraft's exercise partner and unwillingly rises to a privileged position at the camp. His anger over the death of his friend and co-prisoner leads to open revolt. The film brings a new view of human degradation during fascism by a tragic story of one man whose only chance for survival is to accept the rules of an unequal game.

The production is based on the famous novella of the same name by M. Kukučín. The author knew his characters well, their joys, pains and desires, and his knowledge and human message are still valid today.

Vanda works as a stewardess in Frankfurt am Main. When Vanda loses her job, she takes the opportunity to finally visit her grandmother Magdalena, who has been living in her old homeland, the Slovak Republic, for several years. Vanda immediately feels at home in this completely different world and soon falls in love with the somewhat shady Mirko. When Vanda finds out that he works as a trafficker, she is initially horrified, but soon realizes that he is also helping people who are in great need.

A lyrical picture of student life. A romantic story of first student love seen through the eyes of an aging writer's memories. In the last years of his life, National Artist Štefan Králík, in addition to his theatrical work, also worked for television. A Trip to Youth takes place in the environment of a current class of high school graduates who have invited a famous writer to a discussion. Shortly before his arrival, however, something happens that contradicts the majority's opinion about morality. And so the planned official discussion suddenly becomes a sincere, open exchange of views, in which the writer becomes one of the actors in the story. A story that happened to him fifty years ago.

Young Jan Stehlík signs up for a job to build a new mine. On the train he meets the pretty Alena, who falls in love with him. However, she means nothing to the superficial Jan, and when the girl becomes his lover, he treats her rudely and insultingly. But Alena's relationship troubles the honest Joseph, who really likes her.

1950. While some people enthusiastically build a totalitarian state, others flee from it in terror. And some disappear. Just like Jarmila, the sister of doctor Marie, disappeared. Although a letter arrived from her in West Germany, it was addressed to Maruška, a name Jarmila never called her sister. At first, there is only an almost impossible-to-prove suspicion, then the intuition of a loving sister, and so Marie sets out to follow in her footsteps.

At the centre of Peter Patzak's existentialist film noir stands the hopeless struggle against the arms mafia in Czechoslovakia and its connections with Austria after the fall of the iron curtain.
