Arvid has made a torch. He invites the parents to the tree house, but the parents just quarrel with each other.

The day has arrived - the big operation! What will life be like with only one arm? Can you continue your life as usual and still be accepted for who you are? Tanja runs away from the hospital in a panic, tying her arm to her body with a belt and hiding it under the shirt. She needs to be convinced that nothing will change.

A single father lives with his two young adult sons. Charlie, the older son, is mentally disabled and usually sneaks on his brother and his girlfriend. It causes problems for the already fragile family.

Simon suffers from mental illness and compulsive thoughts. Once his life gets all screwed up again, he is picked up by his dutiful younger brother. But instead of a comfortable trip home, an emotional crescendo of problematic childhood memories, brotherly love, and cold baths awaits.
