Indonesian law stipulates that all films must go through censorship before any public screening in Indonesia. August 2014. The director and producer of Blind Pig Who Wants To Fly submitted their film to the LSF. After a long-winded and corrupt bureaucratic process, the LSF's final verdict for the film was "Rejected with (Notes for) Revisions". The filmmakers requested a hearing with the LSF committee, which was eventually unsuccessful in producing a clearer understanding of the LSF's reasons for rejection.

The film tells the story of the Bela and Belo twins who grew up to adulthood without the caress of mother’s affection. His father raised them alone because the mother died while giving birth to the twins.
