A fictional account of one year in the life of Empress Elisabeth of Austria. On Christmas Eve 1877, Elisabeth, once idolized for her beauty, turns 40 and is officially deemed an old woman; she starts trying to maintain her public image.

Matthias is a master of pretense, from cultured boyfriend to perfect son or marital coach. He makes a career of being someone else. The real challenge begins when he has to be himself.

The performances by Petra Morzé (as a mature thespian preparing for a video audition) and Marlene Hauser (as the daughter assisting her) illuminate this gently comical drama that intelligently touches on a range of issues within its brief running time.

When 12-year-old Karli moves to an old hotel in the Alps, he discovers an elevator that harbors a secret – it’s a magical time portal that transports him back to 1938! There, he befriends Hannah, a spirited Jewish girl, and Georg, a shoeshine boy. But when Georg is falsely accused of stealing, the children must solve a mystery case hidden within the hotel’s walls, all while the shadow of Nazi Germany begins to grow around them.

Ursula and Neda, an East German waitress with a broken heart and an Iranian YouTuber with a broken arm, both feel trapped and lonely in their precarious lives. A male body was found floating in Lake Triestach near Lienz in East Tyrol. According to the autopsy, Konrad Kofler, Tyrol's Minister for the Environment, had a relatively low blood alcohol content and apparently drowned. After a meeting with the Ministers of Finance of all federal states, Kofler was on his way to Inner Ainöd, a side valley in East Tyrol, but he never arrived.
