Butter is a film about love, obsession, and finding purpose no matter the cost. At its heart, it is a twisted, yet tender love story, between a lonely woman and the greatest food of all: butter.

Unable to deal with life alone, Alex seeks her doppelganger in an attempt to find herself. When she meets Lex everything seems to be perfect, but what happens when life becomes a little too familiar?
