Police officer Sophie Maibach continues to serve with the Guardia Civil in Tenerife as part of the German-Spanish exchange program. Her routine task of assisting her colleague Álvaro Krupp Casado with police matters involving German-speaking tourists and island residents gives the woman in her mid-twenties the opportunity to secretly pursue her own mission: solving the mystery surrounding her father’s accidental death five years ago.

Folklore student Pablo is more focused on his life with his girlfriend and friends than on his studies. In writing a crime thriller screenplay, he has found a new challenge for himself and his friends Scott and Amundsen that could be their big break.

An exchange program for "safe tourism" takes German police officer Sophie Maibachs (Anke Retzlaff - "Across the Border") to Tenerife. However, she also has other intentions there. Five years ago, her father (Michael Roll) died in a hit-and-run accident. There are many indications that the person responsible also lives in Tenerife.
