Based on William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, set in Istanbul, the tragic story of three heroes chasing an unlikely dream, running towards their sad end in a Shakespearean manner.

Successful lawyer Ayten, who deals with the cases of victimized women, takes the case of Emine, who killed her husband. A common point in the duo's past reminds all women that "the past is the mirror of the future".

Yusuf is a youngster living with his sister and brother in one of Adana’s suburbs. On the roof of the house where they live, he passionately feeds and raises the pigeons bequeathed by his father. He has got a special bond with a female pigeon named Maverdi. His brother forces him to work and to earn money.
