A young mother is forced to face the truth of her past life as her daughter approaches adolescence and strives for new freedom.

Lucy thinks her brother, Luka, is broken. His obsessive, infuriating arrangements of sugar cubes and thimbles prove it. Lucy thinks he should be fixed, but not in the way she imagines.

A former boyracer, who married his first love and took a job in one of the fish factories, now has a 17 year-old-son of his own following in his footsteps and can no longer ignore the fact he’s going nowhere. Unable to be physically or emotionally present with his family, he takes his son’s car out for one final joy ride and risks losing the love that surrounds him

Emotionally challenged Ida works happily alone at an Ice cube factory until her perfect world is disrupted by the arrival of Howie, an impulsive dreamer.

Tolu has a choice: save herself or save her friend. As a nightclub toilet attendant, she is both overlooked by and integral for a group of depraved men set on a hideous act.
