At one of Riga’s largest factories, young worker Oļegs graduates from institute with an engineering degree, yet finds it difficult to leave the shop floor behind. As he struggles to reconcile his new professional path with his attachment to the work he knows, the factory collective helps him find his place in life. Along the way, Oļegs must also navigate complicated feelings for Aina, an engineer at the same factory, as he learns to make choices about both his career and his future.
