Eduardo Cubillo Blasco

Héctor—concertmaster of the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra—is torn between guilt and the tremor that threatens to silence his career. Ten years after his daughter’s death, and at the urging of his former psychologist—who is also his best friend’s wife—he agrees to participate in a restorative justice process with the man convicted of the crime. What begins as a head-on collision between two wounded worlds turns into an uncomfortable search for the truth. However, when an old violin reappears on the scene, Héctor finds himself entangled in a web of secrets that calls into question everything he thought he knew about his daughter… and about himself.

According to the neighbours, Paqui and Andrés are a friendly and cordial married couple, but without much of a social life; lovers of tranquillity, who neither have nor cause problems. After twenty years living for rent, without ever giving a problem, the landlord wants to get the house back. But Paqui and Andrés disagree.

A story about friendship, women’s liberation, the courage to face the unknown, the joy and excitement of life.

Louisiana, United States, 1977. The county historian makes a stunning discovery public: the islanders of St. Bernard Parish, who have their own language and unusual customs, are descended from 18th century Spanish emigrants from the Canary Islands.

A film that takes us into the almost impossible dream of creating the first public residence for LGTBI seniors in the world. Through the vicissitudes of six of its future tenants, we will understand why it is necessary and what role it plays in today's society.A dramatic comedy with solid characters, shocking, sometimes quirky and sometimes revolutionary, but always fascinating; and whose stories will make you laugh, cry and reflect on life, dignity and coherence as the project of a residence for LGTBI seniors in Villaverde takes shape.
