Three young guys with disabilities want to go on a party holiday in Salou, just as their friends do. Only their parents block this idea. But then a caretaker, found on the internet, makes the dream possible. Adios Amigos is a remake of the Belgium movie Hasta La Vista.

Nine-year-old Johannes Blom gets blown away when he discovers a little man in the kitchen cupboard, hidden behind the peanut butter jar. He’s even more astonished when he realizes that this little man, ‘Wiplala’, has magical powers. When Wiplala accidentally transforms the Blom family to little people, the adventure begins. Will they ever go back to normal-sized people?

Actress Christel de Laat talks about her life motto, ‘En door!’, with her characteristic blend of humour, self-deprecation and emotion. For years, that motto drove her forward: don’t whinge, don’t stand still, life goes on and the sun rises for a reason. Until the moment when, lying on the gynaecologist’s examination table, she suddenly realised that pausing more often and simply feeling might be better.
