Six college students meet at the final interview of a global IT company. Growing closer as they prepare for the group discussion, they dare to dream that all six might make it — until the day before the interview, when the company announces its verdict: only one will be hired. On the day of the interview, mysterious envelopes arrive, each containing one of their secrets — and suspicion begins to take hold. Who among the six is the liar?

In the near future, 2220, the Seoul landscape appears no different from how it is now, but in 200 years’ time, the government will be creating synthetic humans, or clones, to maintain a healthy life for its people. Artificial bodies are used in industry and for public work until they are required for their original purpose and humans must pay monthly health insurance premiums for the service.

“Flatterer” tells the story of various quirky high school students who relate to each other while navigating their school lives. Park Gun is a student who transfers to a countryside school and becomes the subordinate to his older classmates.
