The film tells the story of a key figure associated with the Brazilian medium Chico Xavier: the spirit Emmanuel, also known as his mentor.

Eduarda is a successful orthopedist, married to event producer Marcos for 10 years. Due to the strain on their relationship, they decide to go to couples therapy, but during the sessions they decide to break up. That's when Eduarda meets Leo.
