A college student's adventures involving Bahram.

Beautiful young widow Tara returns to her village with her two children from the country. On her way home, she learns that her grandfather has died, and distributes his belongings among her neighbours. But there remains an old sword that no one will accept. One day, on the road, Tara meets an ancient warrior, who claims that his clan have sent him to take the old sword back.

Dr. Parsa and his daughter, Bahar, are on the way to Khoramshahr to set up a specialized hospital there. It seems their cold relationship is related to this journey. Reaching there, Bahar finds a diary of a girl at her age called Maryam which was written in the same day, 30 years ago; 2 days before the first day of schools, and also the start of Iran-Iraq war! The girlish joy that Maryam describes in the first pages of the diary, the sudden invasion of enemies to their town, and finally her love story which is mentioned in the diary, motivates Bahar to continue reading it. Maryam was in love with a young intern who was working in the town's only clinic. Now Bahar thinks that the intern could be his father.

A young man in the village spends a few days in a garden instead of his uncle. On a rainy night, strange creatures mistake the garden for grandma's house and take refuge there.

Zizigulu is a pink fictional character who is believed to have lived on the planet Ta-be-Ta before he came to Earth and was adopted by a newlywed couple. His full name is "Zizigulu Aasi Paasi Deraakutaa Taa-be-Taa", however he is sometimes referred to as "Aasi-Poolika" and "Zizinghuli"

The film tells the story of an old tar maker who interacts with a group of young people who practice music at home. In his own mind, he sometimes imagines Iranian music masters instead of them, and we hear enduring Persian songs from those masters.
