Frank de Boer

Unique portrait of Louis van Gaal: one of the best soccer coaches our country has ever known and the man about whom everyone has an opinion. In the film we see Van Gaal in his colorful life; not only his career, but also his background, family life and passions. For three years, the current national coach was filmed during work and private moments. In conversations with national and international soccer stars, but also with his wife and daughters, a complete picture emerges of the development of the Van Gaal phenomenon, his unprecedented career and the remarkable man behind the much-discussed image.

The film aims to reveal what the general public has been unable to see: the modest and mysterious inner world of Jari Litmanen. In addition to reviewing the stages of the great soccer player and "artist's" own life, the film also examines the experiences and thoughts of other people connected to his life, such as his teammates and supporters, about Jari Litmanen, soccer, and life itself.

For several decades, the hard core of Ajax supporters has used the derogatory term 'Jews'. This provokes reactions from the opposing side that are antisemitic or appear so, whether intended or not, and which are experienced by many Jews as deeply offensive. Should the use of this derogatory term in, for example, chants be banned or permitted? And where does the association of Ajax with Jews actually come from? This documentary provides a comprehensive and varied picture of the background to this issue. Jewish Ajax supporters, administrators, Amsterdammers, and Israeli Ajax fans, as well as non-Jewish Ajax supporters, administrators, and opponents, share their perspectives.

Go behind the scenes and get closer to the 2010 FIFA World Cup Final than ever before in 'Match 64', a documentary that features exclusive interviews, footage and access to the battle between Spain and the Netherlands.
