Filmed in the Armenian capital of Yerevan, Lusine Sargsyans drama depicts the lives of various individuals living in an apartment complex during the Armenian-Azerbadjanian war of the mid 1990’s. The situation is cruel and hard for the citizens of Yerevan. The need for food and electricity is dominating the international news from the city, while inside this abode in the centre of the city daily life goes on in spite of desperation. Swift and calculated, they couldn't escape the long arm of the Soviet state. The KGB closed in, the trial was secret, and the sentence was death. A true story buried for decades, until the Soviet Union itself ceased to exist.

The film premiered in the Armenian theaters on December 19, 2015.[1] The film consists of 7 parts.[2] Each part has its own storyline and director. Some parts of the movie are shot in Turkey and France. Edgar Baghdasaryan's film titled The Path of Simon won the main prize at the European festival of short films.[3] The Moscow premiere of the film was on 6 February, 2018.
