A story about a young hero of the Great Patriotic War, scout Yasha Gordienko. A short, stocky boy who dreamed of becoming a military sailor was a liaison of a partisan detachment in Odesa occupied by the Nazis. Captured on the denunciation of a traitor, he was shot by the Germans Nazis.

A young boy suddenly finds a magic bolt which makes him incredibly brave.

Street kid Petka stole a gold watch. But once in the orphanage, he learns the price of human kindness, warmth and care, the joy of friendship, mutual assistance and loyalty. After all, he returns the watch to its owner.

The young schoolboy goes to the village where his grandfather died in battle during the Great Patriotic War. In the village, the boy finds friends among his peers. The boys decide secretly, by their own efforts, to build a monument to the fallen soldiers. Gradually, their work ceases to be secret - and fellow villagers join in the construction of the monument.

The action takes place within the walls of the scientific Institute of Eye Diseases named after V.P. Filatov. The protagonist, who had already lost hope of seeing something, saw the blue sky again.

Stanitsyn, a test pilot who dreamed of space, was rejected by the medical commission. But the courageous dreamer in love with the sky found himself at a lower altitude - in transport aviation.
