A failed actress' mother suffers a stroke and wakes up believing her daughter has become an international movie star. Rather than shattering the illusion, the heroine invents an increasingly elaborate fictional life to protect her mother — and, ultimately, herself.

Recorded at the Centre Pompidou in Paris in February 2023, this “cine-concert” captures the avant-rock band SQÜRL performing a semi- improvised score to Man Ray’s films.
