Depressed Jewish shrink Elia one day meets Claudia, a young and eccentric personal trainer.

Sara and Nicola are married and in love. Their lives seem to be perfect: they have an angelic six-year-old daughter, thriving careers and a stable marriage. The birth of their second child, which disrupts the family balance, leads to tragicomic scenarios.

The fourteen-year-old Carlino, a restless and rebellious boy, lives with his parents Cesare and Bianca and with his older sister Carolina, who is about to marry Pietro.
