(Laila) is forced to marry a businessman after she discovered that her fiancé, who traveled to work in an Arab country, had married from there. She traveled with her husband to spend their honeymoon, but she suddenly returns from the trip due to her father’s condition deteriorating. She is arrested at the airport, where there is a bag of heroin in her bag without her knowledge. She discovers that her husband works in drug smuggling.

A playful, reckless young girl makes a random nuisance call to a stranger telling him that she knew about him murdering his wife. Coincidentally, she was speaking to a man who did murder his wife. When he tries to buy her silence, she starts blackmailing him, so he plans to kill her too. This is when a journalist, Faten, is called in to the rescue of her cousin, the nuisance caller.

Abo Dahab is a poor baker who goes to prison instead of his corrupted boss. When he gets out, he discovers that his employer did not fulfill his promise by supporting his family during his incarceration so he assaults him and gets fired from his job. While unemployed, Abo Dahab meets Haridi a drug dealer who hires him and later on gets killed by him and becomes one of the richest drug dealers.

Omar, the deaf, mute, is subjected to expulsion and displacement from his home after the death of his father, due to the return of the house to the owner company.

When Ahmed's father travels abroad for work, he gets harassed for refusing to give a part of his income to those who helped him travel. The father dies, and when his body arrives in Egypt, the Interpol suspects Ahmed and his father of being members of a terrorist organization.

The teacher (Sayed) Arabji lives with his wife (Fakiha) and children, the lottery seller (Shalbia) convinces him to buy a paper from her to try his luck. He earns a thousand pounds, and decides to use it for the adventure. The people of the neighborhood are happy for him, except for Sheikh (Nair), who informs him that the amount will be spent in nightclubs, but the amount is already growing in gambling.

Hassanein and Barhuma suffer from the abuse of (El-Hanash) a bully in the neighborhood. After some time, Hassanein travels to Greece where he meets with his mistress Aziza and marries her after knowing that she has a child as a result of their illicit relationship. On the other hand, El-Hanash gets his agents in Greece to go after Hassanein, which results of Aziza's murder by a bullet directed towards her by mistake instead of Hassanein.

After the skilled diver Hassan manages to capture the prince and his gang members, he receives his reward in exchange for informing the police about the prince's gang. The gang members escape during their deportation. The prince burns down Hassan's house, killing his wife and son. Hassan manages to find out where the treasure is. Shams accompanies him with her brother Shukry and his foreign friend Flora, who pays the costs of searching for the treasure.

Fatima gets involved with the crook Abbas who lures her in with wealth before he gets arrested. Fatima meets Dr. Ahmed and he marries her despite her past, and she gives birth to Samir. When Abbas comes out of jail, he looks for Fatima, which turns her life into a nightmare.

Refat is a teacher with a heart disease, who marries the poor girl Salwa, despite the opposition of his mother who is trying to persuade him to divorce her in exchange for his share in the inheritance. Salwa resorts to holy people hoping to cure her husband.

When the simple fisherman Ahmed thinks about enrolling his son in school, as he realizes that he doesn't have an ID and that his son doesn't have a birth certificate. Matters become complicated in a series of comic events when he decides to register his children in the official records.

Safaa works in Samir's company despite her husband Saber's objection. Samir asks her to travel to Jordan on a business trip, but Saber refuses and threatens to divorce her if she travels. However, she chooses to travel, as she is looking forward to getting rich. Samir's true nature becomes clear to her: he is a drug smuggler who exploits her in smuggling operations and tries to push her into a frivolous life.

Fawzya suffers from the treatment of her husband Ahmed who doesn't pay her enough attention. After Ahmed refuses to divorce Fawzya, she decides to have a sex change surgery and becomes a man. Fawzya suffers a lot after changing her sex and their child loses his mother's tenderness.

A dramatic eventful story of ethical and social arguments starts when Fathi returns from Kuwait to find himself in turmoil of treacherous plot of greed and indecency committed by his mother-in-law and her wicked lover after having murdered Fathi's father.

Essam abandons his fiancee Wafaa to marry Mona and starts her father's business and be a great fortune. Wafaa overcomes her crisis and marries the president of the company she works for, which worries his daughter Laila and her husband Mohsen. They want to acquire her father's wealth. Essam narrows his life with Mona, and hesitates Wafaa asking for her friend, but she repels him.
