A boy and his father steal an old suitcase from an antique market and discover a weathered tent inside that opens a portal to a cursed circus world from the past; they encounter an entity that will stop at nothing to capture their souls.

A young woman who is unknowingly in possession of a legendary "cursed tape" takes a collection of old video tapes to a video store. She and the store owner re-awake its curse, which leads to the release of a raft of cinematic villains.
