Mexico City, November 1901. The police raid a private home where a secret party is being held. Among those attending is the son-in-law of President Porfirio Díaz.

Dalia discovers that her husband has vanished without a trace. As her life and her job as a subway driver begin to collapse, the violent indifference of her environment engulfs her in a dark tunnel that seems to lead nowhere.

Omar (15) and Karina's (12) mother has a stroke during the family holidays. The siblings, drifting apart, will start a long journey through Mexico towards their grandmother's house.
