Gary and Ell (a married man with an inferiority complex, and a grieving young widow) meet on a blind date only to wind up stealing a killer's car along with a dead body and $40,000.

While recovering from a suicide attempt, Ben Layten accidentally falls in love with a girl who was very nearly, almost his sister - and then things start to get weird.

A disillusioned man makes the very normal and logical choice to abandon human society and become a bear.
