This short time gives fresh heart to those hiding here and kindles hope in their tortured souls to live for another day. This mysterious power is none other than a beautiful song that can be heard at such times from the villa's tower room.

An eclectic, quasi-surreal city road movie about two unspoken lovers who cruise a ’68 Mustang through a dreamscape of pizza joints, art-deco skyscrapers, eclipsed suns, surf beaches and palm-fringed oceans, where red neon, hi-techno beats and old-school surf-punk collide. On the shores of Lake Balaton, a group of people rush to their boats as a storm approaches, notice that a boat has capsized on the water and go to the rescue. They rescue a couple, and the young man who rescues them falls in love with the woman.

Péter is determined to learn the whole truth about his father's death. According to his mother, he was killed on the battle-line on the 2nd of December, 1944. However, a friend of his father's, Kánitz, a film director, shows him a fragment of a film in which he can be seen in the middle of December.

Private inspector Hável happens to travel on the train which is attacked at Biatorbágy. His attention is drawn to a suspicious man, and in the next few days he confirms that it was indeed him who committed the crime. Yet the police accuses not the lunatic Marschalkó but the communists. Summary justice is declared.

The different, and equally acceptable, according to circumstances, way of life of five people.

Endre and Agha, the newlyweds, had a hard time at first. Agi's parents refused to help them. Then a child was born. Life without an apartment and without sufficient funds became even more difficult. It came to divorce. But love prevailed: Endre and Agi realized that together they would overcome all difficulties.

Vetró János, the lorry driver, is an alcoholic. His marriage is in pieces, his wife has a lover. Their son suffers an accident. The next day his wife moves out. In his desperation, Vetró drinks even more, and leaves his work as well.

A young priest visits a barber's shop to get shaved. When he leans back and closes his eyes, the barbers decide to play a prank on him. Instead of a male barber they let a female hairdresser take care of the shaving. When the priest feels her soft fingers on his skin, he opens his eyes and sees the woman. He cannot do anything but stay in the chair, as he has shaving cream all around his chin. The woman continues the shaving in a rather sensual way. When the priest leaves the barber's shop, he looks disconcerted.
