An anxious director is screening her first film for her peers, but getting straight feedback is more complicated than she expected.

The world is flooding. It's been raining for weeks on end and 12 year old Briggs is the last in the line of kids to be sacrificed in a ritualistic drowning.

A young man is compelled by lurid advertising to attend a screening of 'Neoplasm'. In the deco interior of a 1920s theater, silent cinema attendants issue the kid with a ticket for the matinee. As showtime nears, the empty cinema fills. The picture begins, playing to a packed house.
