Violet Du Feng is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning documentary filmmaker born and raised in Shanghai and now based in New York. She began her career as a co-producer on Nanking (2007), which won a Sundance Special Jury Award and became the highest-grossing documentary in China's history. She went on to direct and produce Hidden Letters (2022), an Oscar-shortlisted, Emmy- and Peabody-nominated film that premiered at Tribeca and won prizes at more than a dozen international festivals, and The Dating Game (2025), which premiered in Sundance's World Cinema Documentary Competition.
