The story of Jacinta, one of the three children involved in the Marian apparition reported in 1917 at Cova da Iria, in Fátima, Portugal.

From an early age, while still at school, he realized that what he lacked in courage he made up for in intelligence. When faced with physical confrontation, his stomach churns and his breathing becomes noisy, without him being able to prevent it. So he always put up with everything, or almost everything, from his classmates, later at university, and now at work. Until one day everything changes, a colleague gives him the courage he didn't know he had, leading him to the poetic exaggeration of someone who had endured everything until then.

Esther receives an anonymous diary, written 20 years ago by a young girl in hospital. The girl’s story resonates deeply with Esther, who is still suffering from a recent break-up. Supported by her best friend Elena, Esther becomes obsessed with finding the diary’s mysterious author and getting to know what became of her. Her investigation turns into a genuine introspective journey for Esther to heal, move on with her past and eventually come back to life.

Since childhood, Isabel remembers her mother's recurring request: to be cremated. And now that the day has come, with her husband Daniel at her side, it is the mother's voice that she hears, which surprises her because the mother is there, in the urn, about to be cremated, as she always wanted. And since then, she has been making herself heard, accompanied by a letter left in her will, with precise instructions, which, being drastic, may end Isabel's marriage.
