1 Rittoru no Namida is a Japanese television drama for Fuji Television about a girl who was diagnosed with an incurable degenerative disease at 15, but was able to continue her life until her death at the age of 25.

A medical drama following rookie emergency physicians, paramedics, and police officers as they clash with bitter realities and social issues while striving to save lives on the front lines.

In this sequel to Police and Prosecutor, Nakaido, the passionate gymnastic-teacher-turned-police-detective, is still eager to arrest criminals by all means and be appreciated by victims. He plunges into cases without any care for compliance issues.

In 1943, as Japan's WWII effort falters, a vice-admiral proposes training squadrons of "volunteer" flyers to crash their armed planes into Allied warships. Yarn follows the lives of kamikaze pilots, as remembered by an aging Kyushu restaurateur who cherishes their memory. Honoring the dead and multiple military anthems may stir the soul of some Japanese, but elsewhere auds will make a one-way trip for exits. Battle scenes are well-executed and script delivers some memorable scenes, but overall competent helming and thesping are powerless over writer-cum-Tokyo governor Shintaro Ishiara's repetitive storytelling. A post-war postscript adds considerable length to an already over-extended narrative. Tech credits are good quality.

Fifth release from the straight-to-video series "Drift," this time featuring the GT-# against the GST-t Skyline! It's drift vs. grip in an all-out battle for speed.

Straight-to-DVD horror release from "Kushisake Onna" director Koji Shiraishi. A taxi driver who lives only for the idol Mika Enno accidently runs over a heretic folklorist named Hirano. Film stars Chise Nakamura and Nocchi.
