Malhação is a Brazilian television series for the teenage audience. The soap started in 1995, and was set in a fictional Gym Club called Malhação on Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. Through the years the location varied slightly. Although the name of the soap remains the same, it is now set in the Múltipla Escolha High School.

Helena is a sweet, honest, sensitive and a warrior woman who faces the premature pregnancy of her daughter Joyce, who in turn is abandoned by her boyfriend, the irresponsible Caio. The biggest problem is the girl's father, Assunção, Helena's ex-husband, who does not accept the situation. Lonely and alone, Helena awakens a passion for the endocrinologist Carlos Alberto, and has her feelings matched. But Carlos is committed to the possessive Paula. The girl's parents, Zuleika and Rômulo, anxiously await their daughter's wedding with Carlos, who will save the family from financial decay. Brava Gente was a television series aired by TV Globo in Brazil between 2000 and 2003, initially as a special year-end. The program was adapted from stories and national stories, and plays by famous playwrights, screenwriters and signed by a number represented by several actors and actresses. The genres of the stories varied each week with the style of each director or author. Brava Gente in the stories ranged from comedies and dramas. In all 53 episodes were shown, broadcast on Tuesday nights.

The plot revolves around the romantic conflict involving four young people who have known each other since childhood. The two are then forced to marry and move to the capital.

The department store Fuzuê, specialized in popular items, is a success led by Nero Braga e Silva. Little does he know that the store's grounds have hidden relics for over 300 years.

Beleza Pura is a Brazilian soap opera produced and broadcast by Rede Globo from February, 18 to September 12, 2007, with a total of 179 chapters. It replaced Sete Pecados, by Walcyr Carrasco at the 19h timeslot. It was written by the newcomer Andrea Maltarolli and co-written by Emanoel Jacobina, Ricardo Hoffstetter, Daisy Chaves, Flávia Bessone, and João Brandão, with text supervision by Silvio de Abreu, and general direction by Rogério Gomes.

Bela, a Feia is a Brazilian telenovela originally aired on Rede Record from August 4, 2009 to June 2, 2010. A co-production with Televisa, it was based on the Colombian telenovela Yo soy Betty, la fea, as well as the American series Ugly Betty. On June 1, 2010, the penultimate episode of Bela, a Feia made Record lead the audience ratings against Rede Globo in both São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, a feat rarely achieved in Brazilian television viewership.
