NR“Russian Woe” is a musical adaptation of the classic Russian comedy “Woe from Wit” by Alexander Griboyedov. This tribute to a text well known to all Russians is full of humor and irony. All roles are played by young actors, shedding light on the political context of the time. The adaptation focuses on the social protests and romanticism of Griboyedov's time, satirizing post-Napoleonic Moscow society.
