Bo Hansson

Bo Ingemar Gunnar Hansson was a Swedish musician and composer best known for his four instrumental albums released in the 1970s. Entranced by J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, which he had purloined from his girlfriend, he moved into a friend's vacant apartment and started writing an imaginary score.

Sagan om ringen is a 1971 Swedish live action television film in two parts, adapting the first part of The Fellowship of the Ring. The film was inspired by the progressive rock album of the same name, by Bo Hansson (in turn inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings).
