The Eurovision Song Contest is an international song competition, organised annually by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and featuring participants representing primarily European countries. Melodifestivalen (direct translation: The Melody Festival) is an annual music competition organised by Swedish public broadcaster Sveriges Television (SVT). The competition is a six part tour (5 heats + the final) with stops in cities across Sweden to determine the country's representative for the Eurovision Song Contest. Melodifestivalen is also known informally as "Mello", or internationally as "Melfest".

Yet, at the same time, they are just ordinary teenagers. They discover that success doesn't simply fall into one's lap; instead, every day demands hard work. On top of that, the school must contend with adversaries like Manuel Kanz and Mysterius. The series also addresses typical teenage issues—parents, friendships, puberty, rejection, and loneliness—as well as the fundamental question: "Who am I, and who do I want to be?"

Join us as twelve well-known people take part in one of the world's most spectacular singing competitions. Their identity is kept secret behind fabulous masks and it is up to our expert panel to figure out who is hiding behind the creations.

"Hver gang vi møtes" is a Norwegian reality television show broadcast on the Norwegian TV 2 television station in 2012. It is structured in similar format to the Swedish series "Så mycket bättre" that had been launched in 2010.

Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (abbreviated UMK) is an annual music contest organised by the Finnish public broadcaster Yle. Melodi Grand Prix is an annual music competition organised by Norwegian public broadcaster Norsk Rikskringkasting. However, Norway holds the record for the number of entries who have come last since entering Eurovision; 11 in all. Despite this, the competition still makes considerable impact on music charts in Norway, and in other Nordic countries, with the 2008 winner topping the Norwegian charts.

Dzień Dobry TVN is a polish morning show broadcast on TVN since 2005 every day between 8:30 and 11:00. It features celebrity guests, advice on health, entertainment, cookery and more. It is presented by four duets: Dorota Wellman with Marcin Prokop and Jolanta Pieńkowska with Robert Kantereit who are on air from Monday to Friday and Kinga Rusin with Bartosz Węglarczyk and Magda Mołek with Andrzej Sołtysik who host the show at weekends. The programme is also broadcast on iTVN and TVN HD. During the summer holidays it is replaced by Dzień Dobry Wakacje.
