Olwen May is an English actress and theatre director, known for Happy Valley (2014), Whoops! (2013), and Inspector George Gently (2007). She played D.C. Joyce Malone in Coronation Street (1960) during the investigation of Frank Foster's alleged rape of Carla Connor. She has also directed several plays. She lives in West Yorkshire with her partner, Kevin Doyle.
