Gav Chuckie Steel is a British independent filmmaker, director, producer, and actor known for his work in low-budget horror and found footage cinema. He first gained attention with the supernatural found footage feature Preternatural (2016), and has since directed genre films including The Shadow of Death, 60 Seconds to Die 2, Beyond, and the in-production horror feature Baited. Working through Deadbolt Films, Steel has built a reputation for ambitious independent productions that blend supernatural horror, anthology storytelling, and DIY filmmaking.
