The story is based around "spermulites", the alien inhabitants of a dying planet. The only way they can save their planet is by sucking the men of planet earth dry of sperm, kind of like horny vampires.

In the French Basque Country, near Saint-Jean-les-Bains, young man Julien (Noriega) finds a corpse, buried with jewels, in an abandoned car near a ravine. Julien cannot resist the temptation and takes the jewels with him. He later learned from the press that the man in the car was killed. Maria (Galiena), the boarding lady who accommodates Julien, brings him into contact with a healer. Julien and Maria become lovers, cash in on the loot and flee. It is quite obvious that this does not lead to a happy ending and that the opportunistic amateur thief is confronted with professional criminals. Two friends, Julia Ferenzi and Delphine Balland, work at the same company, Phonesystem, which is soon to be listed on the stock exchange. Management decides to relocate production, and several employees are laid off. While Julia keeps her job, Delphine is among the unfortunate ones who are let go. Determined not to give up, she decides to open a restaurant. She quickly runs into trouble with the banks, which refuse to lend her €10,000. Julia gets involved. To help her friend, she takes the risk of embezzling the money from Phonesystem. Unfortunately, Christelle, the accountant, reports her. Julia ends up in prison.
